Sixth sheet of the “Vari Capricci ”, the most important series by Giambattista Tiepolo, consisting of 10 etchings of uncertain dating. A classic example of whim painting with religious, imaginative, mystery and magic scenes, inspired by the literary and philosophical suggestions of the time.
Giambattista Tiepolo (Venice, 1696 – Madrid, 1770) is a famous painter and engraver originally from the Republic of Venice.
